A man has been arrested after an assault on a park west cinema.
The incident happened at around 4.30pm on Sunday at the Park West Gallery on George Street.
Police said a man drove a car at a pedestrian crossing, striking a pedestrian who was not seriously injured.
The man drove away and the victim was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Police say a witness saw the car driving towards the park and called the police.
Officers attended the scene and arrested a 22-year-old man.
Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident to call them on 1800 333 000.
