The Z Galleries mirror gallery has gone through a lot in its lifetime, but this gallery is the one that has remained largely untouched by the rest.
It’s still on the ground, so you can’t really see it from the ground but there are plenty of other things to see there, like an antique mirror, a piece of vintage art and even a vintage clock.
If you want to see the rest of the gallery, you’ll have to wait until the end of this article.
There are plenty more things to discover here.
Z Galleries is located in the heart of downtown Oakland.
It was opened in 1876 and has been open for nearly a century.
The oldest open gallery in the US is the original, which was built in 1890 in a former slave market in the city of New Orleans.
Its newest addition is an 1891, four-story, stone structure.
Its name translates to “little mirror” and the mirror is actually the centerpiece of the structure.
The mirror sits at the entrance of the building, and visitors can enter the building through a narrow passageway.
The Z Gallerie mirror gallery opens on Thursday, September 6, and is free of charge.
The venue is open to the public from 9am to 6pm.
There will be a free live music series on Thursday as well.
The gallery will also host free food and drink specials, including a special Z Gallery cocktail menu.
If your plan is to take advantage of the free events, there’s always an online ticket sale for $20.
The first 400 people to buy the ticket will receive a free glass of Z Gallys glass, while the remaining 500 will receive their ticket and a free beer.
Tickets can be purchased at the door, but if you’re not feeling up to paying a few bucks, there are still plenty of ways to get tickets online.
For those that prefer to pay, there is also a Z Gallies mobile app that lets you purchase tickets from anywhere.ZGalleries, located at 2158 West Alameda Street, Oakland, CA 94610.
